On 30 July 2026, the Asian Society for Regenerative Medicine held its fourth SVF MSCs stem cell hands-on workshop in collaboration with IACS. The programme continued the Society’s commitment to practical professional education supported by scientific discussion and responsible clinical context.
From principles to supervised learning
The workshop gave participants an opportunity to connect foundational concepts with demonstrations and guided activities. Faculty addressed workflow, handling considerations, quality awareness, clinical decision-making, documentation, and the importance of working within relevant professional and regulatory requirements.

Hands-on education is most valuable when it reinforces—not replaces—the need for evidence, competent training, ethical practice, and patient safety. The programme therefore encouraged participants to ask critical questions, compare approaches, and recognize both the potential and the limitations of emerging applications.
Collaboration that strengthens practice
The continued collaboration between ASRM and IACS brings together complementary experience in education and applied learning. By convening professionals in a structured setting, the fourth workshop helped build a community that can share knowledge responsibly and carry stronger standards back into practice.

ASRM will continue developing learning opportunities that help the region engage with regenerative medicine carefully, transparently, and with a clear commitment to professional responsibility.
